The Rise of Skywalker sees Kylo Ren taking on a slightly different look. Sure his black jumpsuit, gauntlets, boots and cape are all the same basic black, but it’s the mask that truly stands out. In the later part of the Last Jedi, we see Kylo shamed by Snoke to the point where he destroys his helmet in a fit of rage. Though once he takes on the mantle of being the new Supreme Leader of the First Order Kylo repairs his mask in a way that harkens back to ancient Japanese Kintsugi, except he replaces gold with raging crimson red.
It’s important to note that this officially licensed Kylo Ren mask is a half-mask. This makes it a great option for Kylo Ren costumes that call for drawing up the hook. Not only does it look like Kylo stepped right off the screen of the Rise of Skywalker, but it’s also much easier to breathe through and see out of than a full latex mask.
