Dice gimmicks and prediction gags used to be limited to masters of sleight of hand. Get it wrong once, and that one skeptic in the crowd will do their absolute best to break the suspension of disbelief for the rest of your act. This dice gimmick takes this power away from them and keeps it in your steady hand with Flash Dice by Tango.
The Flash Dice routine starts by placing six dice into a small case at random before covering it with a lid. The randomness gives the illusion that this trick is being done “Fairly. The case is then “Shaken.” At that point, the lid is removed and each dice is lined up in order from 1 to 6. Another shake seems to reset the order from 6 to 1. All the while your hands are free and clear of any sleight to even the most skeptical of spectators.
Though this is far from the end of the trick, as you take the gimmick to the next level by writing a prediction on a slip of paper. You then ask the spectator/participant to throw the dice on the table and count the number of spots showing. They then add them all together. The dice are replaced into the case and shaken once more. Though the number of spots that now appear on the dice is added to the previous total which somehow matches your prediction
For the finale, you ask the participant/spectator to pick out one of the six dice and the remaining five are replaced into the case and shaken once again. Only to reveal that all the dice in the case show the same number as the die they previously selected!
