Ichabod Beware
The Legend of the Headless Horseman of Sleepy Hollow was originally penned by Washington Irving. According to the legend, the Headless Horseman was said to rise every night searching for his head, and if he could not find it, then he would take someone else's. In the tale Ichabod Crane was Sleepy Hollow's school teacher. After a social gather Ichabod traveled back to Sleepy Hollow, when he had a terrifying encounter with the Headless Horseman. The Horseman threw his pumpkin head at Ichabod. What happened to Ichabod is unknown to this day. It is a haunting tale so powerful that it’s little surprise why so many people show up as the Headless Horseman at Halloween costume parties every year.

This Headless Horseman costume comes with everything you need to don the guise of Sleepy Hollow’s most famous phantom. There is a fetching vest attached to the jacket with a see through gray collar and a front facing cross belt. There’s also an inflatable shoulder unit and a neck cap piece create a headless look. You also get a pair of pants and boot tops that let you cover your real shoes to complete the effect. It’s available in large and extra-large adult sizes.
