Unless you want a product you can take home after your appointment, makeup is included in the price, but everything else is priced as an add-on. None of our makeup services include prosthetics, accessories, or costumes, but if you’d like to purchase some before or after your appointment to go with your look, we’re happy to assist you!
Please refer to the individual services for a complete breakdown of what we offer with each one. We love special requests, so if you don't see what you want, please ask.
When you select “with prosthetics”, what you’re paying for is the application, custom painting, and blending of the prosthetic to make it look awesome on you. The reason the piece itself is a separate charge is because our prosthetics vary in price based on the size and material.
Once a service is booked, you may cancel up to 48 hours before the service for a 50% refund. Cancellations made after that time frame and completed services will not be eligible for a refund.
Yes! Please email a description of the look you’d like and any corresponding reference images to makeup@abracadabranyc.com and if it’s something we can accommodate, we’ll send you a quote.
We reserve the right to turn away any visibly intoxicated customer at their own expense. If you’re coming in, we ask that you be able to sit still for the application without causing a disturbance to those around you. Also, please don’t bring alcohol into the store.
In addition to our team’s high standards of artistry and sanitation practices, we offer customizable services that typically aren’t available at most salons, using professional grade makeup and tools. The price reflects the expertise, time, and product quality you’re receiving!
Pending availability, you can request a certain artist for your appointment. We can’t guarantee they’ll be available, but we’ll do what we can to make it happen. But we can guarantee they’ll be flattered that you asked.
Nope, sorry. But if you’d prefer to bring some of your own products anyway, go for it!
We recommend coming in with a clean, makeup-free face for the most part. If you have allergies or sensitivities to certain chemicals, please disclose them to your artist beforehand. Otherwise, we’ve got it from here!
