One Single Sheet of Balsa Wood: 24" x 48" x 0.375" Long Grain sheet. This particular density of balsa wood at 3/8” is best used for table tops and large surfaces or any larger scale props that will be broken. Smaller pieces are difficult to break against the grain.
This is an extremely lightweight sheet of real wood. Balsa wood in it’s nature is a delicate and somewhat brittle hardwood. Highly pourous, this wood is used in the making of our breakaway wood props, furniture, walls, window frames, etc.
It can be cut, scored, sanded and finished exactly like real wood. It’s very easy to work with and glues together quickly and securely using hot glue, superglue and any other glue intended for wood. (We recommend hot glue!) All balsa wood sheets are made up of laminated laters of smaller blocks of wood that are then heat pressed and glued together prior to being milled into the sizes offered here. There will be evidence of this veneer/laminate process in all of these types of sheets. The veneers tend to be only slightly noticeable and, if using a water based stain, will be hard to detect.
The wood is very light, unfinished, and tend to resemble clear pine with a very delicate grain. Balsa is imported from Ecuador and we work to have a constant supply in stock. Please contact us if you plan to order large amounts or you have a tight timeline for receiving your stock. Because of the large size, the shipping costs will be determined by their size and not weight (Dimensional Weight Calculations). You can expect higher than normal shipping prices for these items, therefore ground shipping is usually best.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR WEARING COSMETIC CONTACT LENSES IMPORTANT INFORMATION
PLEASE READ ALL OF THE FOLLOWING INFORMATION BEFORE USING COSMETIC CONTACT LENSES
Cosmetic contact lenses are like other contact lenses, but are intended solely to change the normal appearance of the eye in decorative/cosmetic fashion.
These products are intended to be worn only with the assistance of a qualified eye care professional and professional eye care supervision. Do not wear these lenses if you have not had an eye exam in the past year, have never worn contact lenses or have not been trained in contact lens insertion and removal technique and lens care. Like other contact lenses, cosmetic lenses can cause a variety of eye injuries and conditions. Contact lens wear can cause infection, redness, corneal ulcer and or other problems if not used properly.
Certain ocular (eye) problems such as infection if left untreated can lead to corneal scarring, which can lead to vision impairment. In extreme cases, corneal ulcer can result in blindness and eye loss. Other risks include conjunctivitis; corneal edema; allergic reaction; abrasion; and reduction in visual acuity, contrast sensitivity, and other visual functions resulting in interference with driving and other activities. These risks cannot be sufficiently controlled unless: (1) the wearer obtains contact lens wearing advise from an eye contact professional. (2) The lenses are evaluated by an eye care professional. (3) The wearer remains under appropriate professional supervision, including yearly eye exams.
Cosmetic Contact Lens Care
As other contact lenses, cosmetic contact lenses must be cared for properly. Please memorize the following guidelines before wearing cosmetic contact lenses:
Follow the above cleaning and care instructions
