You have to be living under a rock if you haven't heard of Benjamin Franklin. He is just as big an icon as Samuel Morse and Thomas Edison. This man invented a lot of things that we use today! He was a diplomat, political leader, writer, and inventor. Some see him as a symbol of freedom. He is one of the United States' founding fathers, and he even had his portrait on a dollar bill! How cool! These square-shaped glasses are one of the things that he is known for.

The whole point of Halloween and costume parties are to dress as someone or something amazing. If you have a historic themed party to attend and you came across these glasses, why not put them to good use? Franklin pulled on a colonial suit that had breeches and a waistcoat.
