Pirates were some of the original scoundrels of the age of exploration. Many started out as Privateers, they were men who were sent forth by kings, nobles and the Dutch East India company to explore the world and bring back its riches. Along the way these privateers realized that the world is a very big place, it would be easy enough to just disappear with some of those riches to live a long and well-appointed life. This was the dawn of pirates and it spawns so many creative characters in myth and reality that “Pirate” remains one of the most popular costumes every Halloween.

A One Of A Kind Pirate Beard

A lot of pirate beards look like fake bushes of male facial hair. Few have the elegance and thoughtful styling of this Black 2 Piece Pirate Mustache and Beard Set. This was a more common look amongst the pirates who frequented the south China sea and the Indian Ocean. It is made from synthetic fibers that look like human hair, and is easy to reuse for multiple wears throughout its long life.
