The 20th Century Bra Trick was very popular with adult audiences and stage performances that needed a little extra humor. Now that the year Y2K has come and gone the trick has been reinvented for a 21st Century audience that needs a good adults only laugh.
The trick starts by asking for a male volunteer from your audience. Then a pair of matching handkerchiefs are tied together, and the knot is discretely tucked into the front of the volunteer's shirt. The magician and the volunteer then each hold the tip of a handkerchief.
The performer tells the spectators at large that, on the count of three, you and your volunteer are going to pull on the handkerchiefs. And that they will easily pass right through the volunteer's body without harming him a bit. When the big moment comes the performer pulls on a handkerchief, and a bra suddenly appears, tied between both handkerchiefs!
Of course, this is just one way that this trick can be performed. Once you practice it to perfection, you will likely find tons of other iterations to fit your personal dramatic, magical, or comedic style.
