They ran through the streets offering newspapers that were “Hot Off The Press.” Along the way, they earned a pretty fair wage for their time. This spawned generations of kids with paper delivery routes, who also did very well for their efforts. While most people get their news over the internet or via some other electronic means, the iconic Newsboy still lives on in urban myths, legends and historical costume hat like this one.
