This vanishing coin trick doesn’t seem to employ any sleight of hand, which makes it a great vanishing gimmick for beginners, yet still elevated enough for a true worker magician to take it out to their street and small group performances.
This coin vanishing trick starts with you borrowing a quarter and placing it under a handkerchief. The spectators can feel the coin underneath the cloth. Then you hold the handkerchief over a small glass of water before drops the coin inside. With dramatic flair, you remove the handkerchief to reveal that the coin has vanished. You can then pour the water out of the glass and the handkerchief is shown free of any noticeable alteration.
