The Day Of The Dead or Dia de los Muertos is the Latin American Holiday that celebrates ancestors with reverence Many people who observe Dia de los Muertos, do so with face paint or Catrina Masks as they attend parades or visit the graves of lost loved ones. Though there are some who prefer a more demure approach to the facial covering, which is why this Day of the Dead Coffin Mask is so popular year after year.
This Coffin hat only covers the face with a simple black lace veil, which is part of an older tradition from Spanish culture, which doesn’t always represent Catrina masks on the Day of the Dead. Though there is still a Catrina Mask printed on the top of the hat to tie the theme together.
