Stripper decks are known by a few different names, including tapered decks, wizard decks, or even a biseauté deck. To the casual observer it looks very much like a standard deck of playing cards. Though the cards are slightly tampered, with one end being slightly wider than the other. To the point that you can just barely feel in you hand. The white border of the cards is also slightly tapered to match.
While the taper of a stripper deck is nearly imperceptible when the cards are held in the same alignment, you can easily notice when one card is inserted back into the deck rotated at 180-degrees. To find the seemingly errant card, you can easily run your finger along the side of the deck.
This means that you, the magician, can quickly find any card that’s out of order. Even after your spectator or another participant has selected a card and placed it back into the stripper deck. You can even let them choose the shuffling method to enhance their confidence and maintain the suspension of disbelief.
This stripper deck is available in standard blue and red with print patterns that closely resemble most standard decks. An easy to understand instructional DVD is included the purchase to help you quickly master the trick, offer performance tips, and polish your presentation.
