This particular costume is meant to mimic the famously popular shrunken head scene. It does this with beefed up cartoon-like shoulder pads, added to the maroon velour bodysuit.

This Shrunken head Beetlejuice costume was a hit!

My husband wore it to the office where they had a Tim Burton themed costume contest AND at a huge costume party at Dumbo House… so for 13 hours straight. Random people were taking his picture and giving him high-fives on the subway. He and the rest of his Team Beetlejuice won his office costume party!
